David Henderson began his professional career in the United States Marine Corps. He served as a Field Marine for 4 years beginning in 1985 and then served an additional 3 years as a Marine Recruiter. Upon graduating Recruiting School in San Diego, CA. Sergeant Henderson was named Marine Recruiter of the Year in 1991 and was honorably discharged from the U.S.M.C. in 1992.
Mr. Henderson started his private career with Gilbert/Robinson, Inc. (later known as Houlihan’s Restaurant Group) in Kansas City, MO as a Regional Recruiter. He quickly transferred his recruiting and leadership skills to corporate America where he excelled through the ranks. Mr. Henderson spent time as a Manager of Recruiting and was later promoted to Director of Professional Staffing with complete responsibility for the Employment Department.
In 1997, Mr. Henderson was recruited to Nashville, TN to lead the Employment, Recruiting and Selection divisions for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. As the Director of Employment, Mr. Henderson had total responsibility for both the executive selection function as well as overseeing the field management recruiting process.
In late 1999, Mr. Henderson started his own recruiting company, H&A Recruiting, Inc., specializing in the hospitality and accounting industries. H&A Recruiting experienced steady growth while branching out into a multitude of other industries. In 2004, H&A Recruiting was acquired by J.R. Adams & Associates, Inc., a retained executive search firm established in 1970. Mr. Henderson was named Vice President of Operations overseeing both the Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL offices. In 2009, Mr. Henderson was promoted to his current position, President, with complete operational and administrative responsibility for the organization.

We respect the time and confidentiality of every candidate and client. We always contact candidates professionally, as 98 percent of our candidates are already gainfully employed. Our reputation for confidentiality opens up the largest pool of candidates to interview.
We are committed. We never contact any employee of our clients, and we always become ingrained in our client’s company culture. Our representatives are a direct reflection of our clients, and we view ourselves as someone the client would hire as an internal employee.
